Night two of Steph and Jake’s wedding weekend was hosted at Dockside Restaurant in York, Maine, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect night. The energy was light, joyful, and full of anticipation for the wedding ahead. You could feel how excited everyone was to celebrate these two! And how happy everyone was to be there.
Set right on the harbor, the Dockside offered a beautiful coastal backdrop for the evening. Set against the backdrop of the rocky coastline, guests arrived to tables filled with hydrangeas in every shade of blue and white. It was beautifully done by Keri Anne Nelson in collaboration with Lia Bancroft Events. Hydrangea’s are my love language so I was thrilled to be surrounded by them and to photograph them!
A traditional lobster dinner brought everyone together, complete with fresh shellfish, yummy salad, and local corn. The evening felt warm and relaxed, exactly what a welcome party should be!
Steph and Jake added so many sweet touches to the evening—from custom stationery by Serif Sans to seamless transportation for their guests, everything was designed with intention.
