Over Memorial Day weekend, in the historic heart of Boston, Meghan and Mac tied the knot! This wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a full weekend celebration of their love. Family and friends gathered from near and far to honor their story.
A Venue Steeped in Boston History
The Boston Public Library offered more than a stunning backdrop—it brought timeless elegance to the celebration. As a Boston Public Library wedding photographer, it’s always a joy to capture events in a space filled with so much architectural beauty and history.
The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, one of Boston’s most iconic churches. Afterward, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the library’s open-air courtyard. The sound of a gentle fountain, paired with live string music by Beacon Street Quartet, created a dreamy ambiance.
Meghan and Mac shared their first dance beneath the courtyard arches, surrounded by loved ones. Then, a live musical procession led guests into the next unforgettable chapter of the evening.
Dinner in Bates Hall
Reception tables stretched beneath the high ceilings and green-glow reading lamps of Bates Hall. Banquet tables were adorned with lush florals and elegant details. During dinner, heartfelt speeches echoed off the stone walls. The joy and emotion in the room reminded everyone why they were gathered—to celebrate Meghan and Mac’s love.
A Grand Finale
The evening ended with a magical sparkler exit on Dartmouth Street. As the newlyweds departed, they were cheered on by friends, family, and the city that now holds a special place in their hearts.
